Larsson King again, this time in Inner Mongolia

Around 3000-4000 people were watching Peter Larsson win the last stage of Tour de Ski China in Inner Mongolia today. This was his second victory in the tour since he also took the first place in Shangri-La last week. In the final Larsson was accompanied by two other Swedes; Fredrik Persson and Fredrik Bystrom, but it was Jari Joutsen from Finland who took the second place.

Among the women, Lena Pichard from Switzerland was the first to cross the finish-line in the final. Followed by Barbara Morrigel from Italy, and on third place Therese Carlsson from Sweden that did an excellent competition.

The weather conditions were very good, sunshine, and a temperature around 15 degrees minus in the morning that increased to around 8 minus during the day.

This weather together with the great audience and stunnig local performances contributed to an amazing atmosphere. And it seemed like everybody agreed that Tour de Ski China could not have had a better finish…
